About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity is focused on night shift coverage with 10- and 12-hour shifts across multiple sites. Qualified candidates must be board certified or truly board eligible in Emergency Medicine, with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.

- Schedule: Night shifts required; 10-hour shifts (varied start times) and 12-hour shifts (7p-7a); must be flexible to work any assigned shift
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform emergency medical procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and incision and drainage
- Provide acute care for all patient age groups presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
- Deliver care in accordance with the standards of an Emergency Medicine residency-trained physician
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation requirements
Additional Information
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine required (ABEM accepted)
- Must hold a current Pennsylvania state medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience required
- Stroke certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are not required if board certification criteria are met
- Must be willing to work exclusively night shifts as needed for coverage
