About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a 248-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Dec 8, 2025, offering day shifts from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The physician will provide comprehensive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in both outpatient urgent care and community-based settings, focusing on direct patient services, including COVID-related care.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct care and services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient urgent care setting
- Manage care for COVID-positive patients, including monitoring oxygen levels, medication adherence, and symptom tracking
- Deliver comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services to individual patients, family members, and patient groups in home or community-based settings
- Offer emergency medical treatment as needed
- Assess and diagnose patient needs to develop and implement medical treatment plans
- Interpret x-ray imaging and laboratory test results
- Deliver guidance to patients and families regarding management of infectious conditions
Additional Information
- Active medical license required in New Mexico or any other state throughout the assignment
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Start date is dependent on credentialing and new employee orientation schedule
