About The Position

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, beginning Nov 10, 2025. This role involves a structured schedule across multiple settings, ensuring dynamic and diverse clinical exposure. The Anesthesiologist will alternate weekly between a hospital and a surgery center, providing critical care and support in various surgical procedures.


Job Details

  • Schedule:
  • Week 1: Monday to Friday at the hospital
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday at the Surgery Center
  • Week 3: Off


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthetic care in hospital and surgical center settings.
  • Supervise and direct a team with a 1:4 ratio.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Manage perioperative care and monitor patient recovery.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and implement patient care.


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license.
  • Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is necessary.
