Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver high-quality emergency medicine care to patients during assigned shifts
- Manage patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within the emergency department
- Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare staff as needed
- Handle cases independently when resident supervision is not required
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and hospital policies
Additional Information
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
- Emergency Medicine board certification required
- Must have a current and unrestricted Michigan NP license at time of clear (IMLC not accepted)
- ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- Minimum two years of recent emergency department experience required
- DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
- Must be local to Michigan and able to provide address at time of presentation
- Clean background required for credentialing
- Emergency/Temp privileges available
