CES/AWS is looking for an Electrician for our Manufacturing client in Fort Wayne, IN.

Pay Rate: $32.91/hr
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Full-time
Temp-to-Hire position

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Manufacturing Electricians to join a leading manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This position offers hands-on work with CNC machines, robotics, PLC troubleshooting, and facility electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Program and/or alter machine control logic for CNC machines, robots, and PC-controlled systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, recover and repair robots, and resolve electrical issues.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and test electrical fixtures, control equipment, wiring, and systems.
• Install conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, buss duct, and main power systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment remains in good working order.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately close all assigned work orders daily in Emaint.
• Support weekend coverage per rotating "trickman" schedule.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson card OR 8 years of verifiable trade-related experience.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical work, including power distribution and new equipment installation.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, furnace inspection/repair, thermocouple calibration.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with 480V, 110V, 220V, and 3-phase systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, Rockwell Logix platform, Fanuc robotics, and CNC systems.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
