About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, OK. The position communicates instructions to other workers as directed by the supervisor, utilizing knowledge of electrical systems and practices. Responsibilities Assign the immediate tasks to be performed by individual subordinates. Ensure that plans, blueprints, material and tools are available for jobs. Check work in progress for compliance with the standard operating procedures. Answer questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives. Provide information to the supervisor on causes of delays, overall work operations and problems. Ability to Lead or Supervise Ability to Use Electrical Drawings Ability to Use Hand and Power Tools (Electronics) Knowledge of Electrical Equipment Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Physical Effort: Work requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions. The incumbent frequently lifts, carries, and sets up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to 20 pounds occasionally. Working Conditions: Works inside buildings, shops, and outside. Subject to contact with dirt, dust, and grease; shocks and burns from high voltage; cuts and bruises.
