KellyMitchell Group is hiring: Project Manager in Reston

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team! This is located in Reston, Virginia.

Duties:

• Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with input from assigned OSP engineers
• Facilitate team meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items as needed
• Build and maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders across departments
• Track and monitor tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
• Monitor and record project changes, updating schedules accordingly
• Track project budgets and provide financial oversight as required
• Gather and report on performance measurements to monitor ongoing project progress
• Ensure clear and consistent communication within the project team and across cross-functional teams
• Serve as a point of contact and interface with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in Outside Plant (OSP) engineering, construction, or a related field
• Solid background in project management, preferably within civil, environmental, or utility construction industries
• Strong ability to set clear expectations, communicate effectively, and drive project success
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for project documentation and reporting
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio for design and project visualization
• Coursework or training in project management, Outside Plant Engineering, or related fields preferred
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus

The approximate pay range for this position is between $30.00 and $44.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
