Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects related to industrial boilers and economizers. This role involves cross-functional coordination among engineering, procurement, production, quality, and client-facing teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage boiler and economizer projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, technical standards, and contractual requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance with ASME codes, and timely execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry standards, including ASME Section I and VIII, NBIC, and client-specific codes.
- Manage change orders and project scope adjustments, ensuring all impacts are tracked and communicated.
- Support commissioning, startup, and after-sales service as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably related to pressure vessels, boilers, or heat recovery systems.
- Knowledge and experience of ASME Section 1 and ASME Section VIII code as it relates to boilers, economizers, and superheaters
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and other products, Primavera, or similar).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Formal Technical Education and/or Project management certification is a plus.
