Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects related to industrial boilers and economizers. This role involves cross-functional coordination among engineering, procurement, production, quality, and client-facing teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage boiler and economizer projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, technical standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance with ASME codes, and timely execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry standards, including ASME Section I and VIII, NBIC, and client-specific codes.
  • Manage change orders and project scope adjustments, ensuring all impacts are tracked and communicated.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and after-sales service as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably related to pressure vessels, boilers, or heat recovery systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of ASME Section 1 and ASME Section VIII code as it relates to boilers, economizers, and superheaters
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and other products, Primavera, or similar).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Formal Technical Education and/or Project management certification is a plus.
