The Role


As a Marketing Account Manager, you’ll lead client relationships and oversee the delivery of strategicB2B marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on events and ABM. You’ll manage internal teams, coordinate projects, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.



Key Responsibilities


Client Relationship Management


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust and long-term relationships.
  • Lead regular client meetings and calls to review progress, gather feedback, and identify new opportunities.
  • Proactively address client needs and concerns, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client industries, goals, and challenges to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Present campaign performance reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.


Campaign and Project Management


  • Collaborate with the Strategy Director and Client Lead to develop tailored marketing and business development strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of integrated campaigns across content, event, and business development outreach channels.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform client strategies.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for client meetings.



Account Team Management


  • Coordinate cross-functional teams working on your accounts, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Allocate internal resources effectively to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.


Event Management


  • Define event objectives and success metrics with clients.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue sourcing, speaker coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Brief designers and developers to create engaging landing pages and event assets.
  • Attend and manage events, ensuring smooth delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Travel may be required for events outside your local area.


Budget Management


  • Manage client budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered within scope.
  • Provide regular financial updates and performance tracking to clients and internal leads.
  • Monitor profitability and ensure value delivery across accounts.


Operational Excellence


  • Adhere to internal processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively flag challenges to the Client Lead.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure integrated campaign execution.


New Business Development


  • Lead the preparation of proposals and contribute to strategic thinking for new business opportunities.
  • Support pitch development and internal coordination for new client acquisition.



Required Qualifications


  • 3–5 years of experience in account management within a B2B marketing agency.
  • Proven track record of managing campaigns and client relationships.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance.
  • Hands-on experience with event planning and execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.



Desirable Experience


  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels including email, paid media, and SEO.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
