Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer Location: Plymouth MN Contract: 12-months contract Pay Rate: $45 to $52/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Position Requirements: Independently or lead a project team to identify, scope, plan and execute medium-sized projects. Communicate project progress and escalate issues to management in a timely manner. • Understands the business needs and has a thorough knowledge of the customer when developing a project scope. Incorporates business foresight of emerging technological trends. Leads development of Project Charter and documents the initial requirements that satisfy the stakeholders needs and expectations. Establishes engineering project objectives and technical criteria for evaluating project results and activities of the project team. • Monitors and controls project work to meet the performance objectives defined in the project plan. Focuses on cost and milestone achievement to optimize resource utilization. • Identifies areas of risk and mitigates risks through early risk assessments and implementation of fallback / mitigation strategies. • Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project. This may include developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts, and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. • Uses established PM tools and techniques to stay within authorized budget limits and achieve the overall project and organizational objectives. Understand Project Management tools and methodologies. • Direct the work of project team members, set goals and objectives, monitor progress on tasks. May have direct reports. • Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. • Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. • Perform financial analysis to evaluate savings potential, track performance and inform decision making • Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings. • Develop qualitative insights from reports to inform business decisions
