Local candidates only, will not accept non-local candidates Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Manager directs and works alongside workers (hands-on role) in electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Establishes and implement scheduled, preventive & predictive maintenance procedures Applies and shares knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliability Management team position. Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment Set-up packaging equipment and maintain daily operations Working with pneumatic, hydraulic and power transfer systems Defining and implementing scheduled and preventive maintenance programs Oversee scheduled down times including all maintenance and inspections performed Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure that specified efficiency and quality targets are met Manage multiple maintenance projects to completion with an agreed set of project goals and timelines Provide detailed reporting of progress to management Decide critical equipment purchases and contract services to support the business Ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety regulations, standards and procedures Establish and maintain effective work and communication relationships within departments, ensuring that efficient day to day operational decisions can be achieved Work closely with Operations to ensure continuous improvement, and that the facility runs efficiently Involve during a greenfield site build Complete special projects as assigned Qualifications & Experience: 10+ years of maintenance experience in a production and contract manufacturing environment, with pharmaceutical, food or cosmetics industry experience a plus 5+ years of supervisory experience within a Maintenance Department Experience in the following areas preferred: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatics, Plumbing, PLC, General Building, Production Packaging Equipment, Plant Facilities, etc. Previous experience in commercial construction a plus. Experience troubleshooting maintenance problems and establishing Preventive Maintenance procedures Experience with Resource (materials/tools) & Manpower (hours) estimating and management Strong computer, MS Excel, and Google Suite skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with all departments and employees. Excellent organizational skills
