Job Description

Pay Range: $13hr - $18hr

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Produce correspondence, reports, and other documentation. File documents, maintain and track suspense files, photocopy, and send and receive facsimile transmissions.
  • Provide back-up telephone support. Process invoices and billings. Maintain records.
  • Maintain unit attendance records, library, and manuals. Record meeting minutes.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Maintain adequate supply inventory and order supplies as needed.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality programs.

Education And Licensing

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • One year of experience in general office administrative duties or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with an insurance company, broker, or consultant preferred.
  • Six months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills And Knowledge

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.

Work Environment

  • Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability, excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion. Ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Physical: Computer keyboarding and travel as required.
  • Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision, and talking.
