Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Driver, located in the Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan Area. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a truck, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, unloading cargo, and adhering to DOT regulations. The role will require efficient communication with dispatchers and customers, maintaining the truck in good working condition, and inspecting the vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and ensure safe and timely delivery of goods
• Unload cargo and handle cargo securely
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and routine maintenance

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license
• Truck Driving and Truck operation skills
• Experience in unloading cargo
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle long hours on the road
• Basic mechanical skills to perform minor repairs and maintenance on the truck
• High school diploma or equivalent
