Delivery Driver Local DOT CDL - A - Wichita, KS

Our Food Division is a broad line multi-state distributor, and our Beverage Division operates throughout Texas as a distributor of Anheuser-Busch products, craft and import beer brands, spirits, and wine.

Sign-on Bonus of $8,000 (with at least one year of verifiable Food or Beverage Delivery Driving Experience in the last 5 years)

1. Perform product deliveries along assigned routes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies; request service and repairs as needed.
3. Assemble orders for timely delivery, ensuring accurate delivery windows.
4. Place products in designated storage locations per customer requests.
5. Maintain accuracy and prevent damage during delivery.
6. Communicate problems immediately to the Transportation Supervisor.
7. Read maps and follow geographic directions.
8. Manage multiple tasks efficiently, using time and resources wisely.
9. Follow transportation policies, safety guidelines, and DOT regulations.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and safety-related regulations and standards.
11. Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and training standards.
12. Complete administrative tasks and paperwork for transportation operations.
13. Review customer invoices and handle receipts and monies.
14. Report mechanical issues, delays, or accidents promptly.
15. Keep vehicle logs, cargo, and billing statements in accordance with policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Adhere to DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of route driving experience within the last 3 years.
• DOT certification and valid State Class A CDL license required.
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and customer service principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and customer-focused.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Driver safety is a priority at Ben E. Keith, with dash cameras using AI to monitor safe driving and capture safety events. All drivers sign a consent form upon hire.
