About the Role:

As a Warehouse Associate in the wholesale trade industry located in MMC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be to maintain accurate inventory records, prepare orders for shipment, and support the overall logistics operations to meet customer demands promptly. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure and organized warehouse environment. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count inventory, and complete documentation.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Organize and store products in designated locations to maximize warehouse space and accessibility.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for shipment to customers or retail locations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed to support logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
