Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems for a variety of building types, ensuring compliance with fire codes and regulations while delivering effective fire protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fire sprinkler systems based on project specifications and codes.
  • Conduct hydraulic calculations to ensure proper water supply for sprinkler systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure coordinated designs.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for fire sprinkler installations using design software.
  • Review and interpret plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling and coordination with subcontractors.
  • Conduct site visits to observe and evaluate existing conditions and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in fire sprinkler design, with a strong understanding of NFPA codes.
  • NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • Proficient in design software such as HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, and AutoSPRINK.
  • Strong mathematical skills for hydraulic calculations and system design.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of various fire suppression systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
