This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about providing exceptional legal advice and services to our high net worth clientele. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of trusts and estates matters, including wills, power of attorney, succession, beneficiary designations, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in trusts and estates law, with a focus on providing personalized, strategic advice to clients. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled legal professionals. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice on matters related to trusts and estates, including wills, power of attorney, succession, beneficiary designations, and assets. Develop and implement effective estate plans that meet clients\' specific needs and objectives. Manage all aspects of trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings, trust accounting, and tax filings. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to client service. Stay updated with the latest developments in trusts and estates law and use this knowledge to enhance our services and client relationships. Conduct client meetings to discuss their estate planning needs and goals, and provide them with tailored, strategic advice. Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, with precision and attention to detail. Represent the firm at industry events and networking functions. Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 10 years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on high net worth clientele. Admission to the IL state bar. Proven track record of managing a wide range of trusts and estates matters, including wills, power of attorney, succession, beneficiary designations, and assets. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to attract and retain clients. Proficiency in using legal software and technology. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. Employment type
