RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 5x8 hour shifts per week for 13-week assignment
• Call requirements: minimum 1 weekday per week and weekend rotation
• On-call shifts Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• 2+ years of operating room experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience required with general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, and trauma procedures
• Adult and pediatric experience required
• Function as OR circulator demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment
• Work as member of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room technicians
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Patient ratio of 1:1
