RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday
• No call requirements
• Option for block scheduling available
• No 48-hour commitment required
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• 1:1 patient ratio in 3 operating rooms with 1 PACU
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Must have experience circulating in orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology or any combination of these specialties
• Blue scrubs provided by center if needed
• Use HST EMR system
• Must include RTO (Return to Orientation) with submission
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, and supervising personnel delivering patient care
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility location

This healthcare facility operates an ambulatory surgery center providing specialized outpatient surgical services. The facility maintains 3 operating rooms and 1 PACU, focusing on various surgical specialties including orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology. The organization follows AORN and regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality patient care in accordance with state nursing practice acts and hospital policies.
