Position Title: Accountant - F&B

Location: Anaheim, CA (On-site)

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: Up to $43.27/hr (equivalent to $90,000 annually)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30 or 60 min lunch)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial operations within a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining reconciliations, and supporting audits. The right candidate will bring experience in general ledger accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and ideally a background in food and beverage or event-based business operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile POS sales reports and record revenue into the general ledger by department, category, and event
• Perform daily reconciliations between POS reports and bank statements
• Complete monthly reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Manage intercompany accounts and reconcile balances
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and provide regular reporting to leadership
• Support Accounts Payable processes as needed
• Assist with monthly financial reports and journal entries
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits; respond to auditor inquiries
• Maintain organized financial records and audit-ready files
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 - 7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry highly preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Up to $43.27/hr (equivalent to $90,000/year)
