Conviva Senior Primary Care is hiring: Receptionist in Port Orange

Overview

Receptionist at Conviva Senior Primary Care. Base pay range: $38,000.00/yr - $45,800.00/yr. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. This role is patient facing and is part of Humana’s TB screening program. If selected, you will be screened for TB. The receptionist is the first impression of the center and supports welcoming patients and coordinating front-desk activities.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls utilizing a multi-line telephone system.
• Ensure accurate and timely handling of requests by scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain thorough records by documenting discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries.
• Resolve patient issues through independent problem solving with the goal of first-call resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting utilizing computer-based practice management software.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Experience in EMR systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, and/or NextGen.
