Overview

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Receptionist. The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The role includes basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support tasks and typically involves routine, patterned assignments. The base pay range is $38,000.00/yr - $45,800.00/yr.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls utilizing a multi‑line telephone system.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of requests by scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain thorough records by documenting discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries.
• Resolve patient issues through independent problem solving with a focus on first contact resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting utilizing a computer-based practice management software system.
• Ability to handle high call volume and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Experience in EMR systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, and/or NextGen.

Additional Information

• Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
• This role is patient facing and participates in Humana’s TB screening program; successful candidates will be screened for TB.
• Interview Format – HireVue.
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
• Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good-faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment; actual pay may vary by location and experience. $38,000 - $45,800 per year.
