Responsibilities

• Provide Departmental support by performing receptionist and clerical duties
• Answer the telephone system promptly and gather screening information; take, relay, and manage messages and/or provide routine information
• Retrieve voicemail messages, return calls, and forward messages as needed
• Referral management and health insurance payor review
• Organize and maintain patient records, logs, and other controlling systems; retrieve files as needed
• Develop and maintain systems to assure accurate, confidential, retrievable information
• New patient coordination
• Perform other special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
• EHR (Electronic Health Record)
