HR Director – Operations/Generalist for a global investment manager with offices across the globe. This is a Generalist role focused on operations and benefits.
Overview
Salary range: $140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr base, with annual bonus and a generous benefits package. Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (near Central Park) with occasional travel to Greenwich, CT. Onsite required 5 days/week (some flexibility on Fridays).

Location and Schedule
Location: Midtown New York, NY near Central Park. Must have some flexibility to travel to Greenwich, CT office on occasion.
Onsite: 5 days/week (some flexibility on Fridays)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and other wellness benefits; assist with 401(k) education and resources.
- Act as a point of contact for employees for all benefits-related questions and issues; assist with the annual benefits enrollment process.
- Work closely with immigration attorneys to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records for visa-related employees and provide necessary documentation for audits or legal inquiries.
- Provide general HR assistance across employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
- Assist with recruitment including on-campus and internship programs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in human resources with a focus on HR operations and employee engagement; 3+ years in areas listed under Responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience in Financial Services is a plus.
- Experience in setting up and managing HR-related operations outside the United States is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent listening skills, sensitivity to social issues, and strong discretion and decorum.
- Commitment to a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office; Dayforce knowledge is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial mindset; humble and empathetic.
- Willingness to commute regularly to other offices and potential additional travel.
