Logistics Coordinator
for our client, a leading player in the industrial and energy sector. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong academic background or early career experience in supply chain or business to gain valuable exposure to international operations, order management, and logistics coordination. Working within a large, global organization, you will support key sales and supply chain functions while building expertise in SAP and export compliance.
Responsibilities Enter and manage customer orders in SAP, including order availability checks, quota and credit verification, delivery processing, and invoicing. Review and prepare export documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of analysis, bills of lading, and other regulatory documents for accuracy. Run and reconcile supply chain reports such as order status, delivery, and export audits, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers to support efficient and timely deliveries. Support monthly inventory reconciliations and reporting to operations accounting. Assist with new customer onboarding, maintaining customer master data, and ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations. Communicate with sales, logistics, technical service, and finance teams to resolve order and invoice discrepancies. Provide complete and accurate customer support, maintaining strong service levels while safeguarding business rules and proprietary information. Contribute to cross-functional meetings and projects designed to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related industry; high GPA and relevant academic projects will be considered for recent graduates. Proficiency in SAP SD & MM modules required, with at least 2 years of exposure preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (testing may be conducted), with ability to analyze data and generate reports. Knowledge of export and domestic laws and regulations preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across multiple functions. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
