We are seeking a Safety Trainer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver and evaluate occupational health and safety training programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, subject-matter expertise in OSHA and workplace safety standards, and the ability to engage participants across diverse industries.
Responsibilities Develop and conduct safety training programs (in-person and virtual). Deliver OSHA-authorized training courses and specialized safety modules. Assess training needs and customize materials for specific industries. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, etc.). Support workplace safety audits and provide recommendations. Stay updated on evolving safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications Certified OSHA Outreach Trainer (Construction and/or General Industry preferred). Minimum three (3) years of experience in occupational safety, training, or related field. Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and travel as needed. Additional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, CPR/First Aid Instructor) are a plus.
