*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be proficient in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. This role requires excellent patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Perform a variety of dental procedures.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
* Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid dental license to practice in the state.
* Proficiency in dental software systems such as Open Dental.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
* Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
* Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
