We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technician to elevate our imaging team at Novant Health. If you thrive in high-volume settings, possess strong technical expertise, and are ready for an exciting travel opportunity, this is your chance to shine! What You’ll Do:
As a CT Tech at Novant, you'll be integral to providing top-tier diagnostic imaging across diverse patient populations—from walk-ins to critically ill patients within a busy 80+ bed Emergency Department. With daily exams numbering approximately 200, you'll utilize Siemens equipment, perform a variety of CT procedures—including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTA scans—and ensure accurate, high-quality results. Working 12-hour night shifts Friday through Sunday, you'll play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care, supporting our mission of excellence in healthcare. Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years of radiologic and trauma experience, with specific expertise in CT. Proven inpatient, ER, and adult ICU work setting experience. Proficiency in IV Starts, PACS, Contrast use, and CT procedures such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal. Valid BLS certification. ARRT certification with a designated CT registration. Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends, with flexibility to start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (10/31, 11/27, 11/28, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1); approval required. Nice to Have Skills: Outpatient, Level I Trauma, or NICU experience. Experience performing biopsies. Knowledge of brain perfusion and Multiplanar Reconstruction techniques. Familiarity with Siemens scanners. Preferred Education and Experience: Radiologic technologist license with ARRT CT registration. At least 5 years of experience in a busy hospital setting, specifically in trauma and emergency scenarios. Additional Requirements: Must bring their own Landauer Dosimeter to the assignment. Orientation at the discretion of the CT Supervisor. Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, with final start dates confirmed a day before orientation.
