Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 / year DOE

Accounting/Finance Specialist Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices and freight bills for accuracy and timely payment Utilize a transportation management system (TMS) to manage shipments, reconcile freight charges, and streamline billing workflows Reconcile carrier statements and resolve billing or rate discrepancies Prepare customer invoices including accessorial charges Maintain AP/AR records and supporting documentation Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow Collaborate with operations to validate billing and shipment costs Generate aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reconciliations Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Prepare financial analysis on freight costs, client profitability, and budget vs. actual performance Accounting/Finance Specialist Requirements:

2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience 6+ months of logistics or 3PL industry experience Strong familiarity with TMS platforms Strong accounting foundation in AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries Solid financial understanding of cash flow, profitability, budget vs. actuals, and compliance Knowledge of freight billing, auditing, customer invoicing, and freight charges High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to collaborate with cross-functional teams Benefits:
