Overview

We are partnering with a company who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their organization for a contract through February 2026. This Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance. Please review the below and apply today!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and accruals (outside services, utility expenses, prepaids, etc.)
• Ensure prepaid compliance and account accuracy
• Complete 10–15 account reconciliations, including some at a consolidated level
• Prepare P&L statements for ~12 business units after close (reports are system-generated, formatted to existing models)
• Support consolidated reporting as needed
• Assist with audit preparation (clean data, prepare schedules)
• Maintain adherence to GAAP and internal compliance standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred

Required Skills

• Detail-oriented, experienced with GL and reporting in a high-volume environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal compliance practices
• CPA not required – relevant experience prioritized
