Position Information Reporting into Global Director of Financial Planning & Analysis the Financial Analyst will provide business analysis and decision support for the global business. The FPA team are core business partners to support and influence business performance, improve business insights, and foster sounds decision making, with a focus on financial reporting, planning and analytical review. The scope of involvement for the Financial Analyst will include front-end sales and marketing processes as well as supply chain support processes.
Position Responsibilities Serve as a Financial Business Partner supporting commercial and operational processes across functions. Maintain timely, accurate financial reporting for management and group stakeholders, including: Consolidation and submission of sales forecasts and periodic reports required by HQ. Coordination of commentary templates to communicate Budget, Forecast, and Actual results; seeking clarifications and preparing summaries as needed. Support the Global FP&A Director in various activities: Maintain and enhance financial models, forecasts, and planning tools aligned with business objectives. Provide transparency on company performance by identifying trends and creating scenario analyses. Analyze sales data, market trends, and budget consumption to identify opportunities and risks. Collaborate with departments to develop budgets and forecasts aligned with business goals. Lead monthly expense reviews with budget owners, highlighting risks and opportunities. Evaluate return on investment activities to facilitate fact-based decision-making. Partner with the accounting team during month-end closes to ensure smooth financial reporting. Analyze and integrate insights from front-end sales, marketing performance, and supply chain activities to support robust analysis and strategic planning.
Position Qualifications Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting, ideally within cosmetics, retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment. Hands-on mindset with willingness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities. Strong sense of urgency, independence, and responsibility to meet deadlines. Maturity and financial acumen to serve as a first point of contact for regional financial inquiries. Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills Experience supporting sales, marketing, and supply chain functions. Familiarity with financial modeling and planning tools. Evolving mindset adaptable to post-merger integration and organizational change.
