Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts with variable start times at 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

• Complete 10 echo scans and reports per 10-hour shift

• Daily caseload consists of 8-10 adult patients (95% of volume) and 1-2 pediatric patients

• Must work up to 6 weekend days per 6-week schedule (6 out of 12 weekend shifts)

• On-call required 0-2 shifts per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed hours with facility ability to call off 1 shift per pay period (2 weeks)

• Must have infant and pediatric experience - this is a hard requirement

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, CCI RCS, ARRT-Sonography, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds

• Skills include 3-D Echo, adult acute care, adult outpatient, bubble study, ER, portable studies, TEE, stress echo, pediatric acute care and NICU

• Must work with patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• California license must be in hand - no temporary licenses accepted

• 30 hours of orientation provided

• Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

• No floating between units required

This acute care hospital features 212 staffed beds and utilizes Epic charting system. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on high-quality patient care across multiple age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The hospital offers free parking for staff and maintains specific dress code requirements with navy blue scrubs for most staff. The echo department handles a high volume of cases with modern equipment and provides both routine and complex cardiac imaging services.
