Opportunity:
RAD Tech - RAD Tech X-Ray Tech SMMC DIAG RAD
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 variable shifts with self-scheduling system based on seniority
• Available shift times: 0400, 0600, 0700, 0900, 1300, 1800, 2000
• Daily caseload of 30-35 scans/exams per shift
• No call responsibilities required
• Float required to meet unit needs
• Weekend coverage every other weekend, may exceed to meet facility needs
• 6 weekend shifts per schedule (6 weeks)
• Guaranteed hours with facility able to call off once per two week pay period
• Must be open to working all shifts outlined
• 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, CA License, Fluoro Permit
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Expected to float between all facilities within the state
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with various patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle procedures including portable chest/abdomen, C-Arm procedures, contrast administration, and various orthopedic imaging
• Equipment includes Ziehm C-Arm and Fuji systems
Facility:
This acute care hospital features 212 total staffed beds and operates with Epic charting systems. The facility maintains an extremely busy emergency department that comprises the majority of the radiology workload, along with OR cases focusing primarily on orthopedic and spine procedures. The diagnostic radiology department operates with 7-8 technicians staffed over a 24-hour period and serves as a training site for students from local universities. The hospital provides free parking for staff and maintains modern imaging equipment to support comprehensive diagnostic services.
