CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Must be open to all shift times - cannot accommodate specific shift requests

• Self-scheduling based on seniority

• Day shifts: 3x12-hour (06:00 - 18:30) and Night shifts: 3x12-hour (17:00 - 05:30)

• Start times available: 0600, 0800, 1500, 1700

• 1:1 patient ratios

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• No on-call requirements

• No floating between units required

• Facility can call off once every two-week pay period

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT

• California license must be in hand - no temporary licenses accepted

• Community hospital experience required

• Must complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours)

• Work with various CT procedures including contrast studies, trauma cases, and emergency department patients

• High volume primary stroke receiving center with very busy department

• Equipment includes 1 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64 slice GE lightspeed

• Transport support available but technologists encouraged to assist when needed

• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

This acute care hospital features 212 total staffed beds and operates as a high-volume primary stroke receiving center. The facility maintains a very busy CT department serving both outpatients and emergency department patients. The healthcare organization uses Epic charting system and provides modern imaging equipment to support comprehensive diagnostic services. The facility offers free parking for staff and maintains professional dress code standards with navy blue scrubs for most departments.
