RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three days per week
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Must float to other units as needed
• Patient ratio averages 1:7
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract with no block scheduling
• 5-day RTO (Request Time Off) pre-approved with requirement to make up time
• May request one holiday off but required to work the other two holidays
• 2+ years of Cardiac Telemetry Med Surg experience required
• At least 2 previous travel assignments required
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
• NIH and VA State License or Compact license required
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Must be able to care for acute care patients
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Candidates with PCU and ICU experience considered if they have primary med surg/tele background

This is a 495-bed healthcare facility designated as a Level II Trauma Center that has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for nine consecutive years. The facility features at least 30 beds per unit and operates a comprehensive float pool system serving multiple departments including Med Surg and Cardiac Telemetry units. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and maintains high standards for patient care and safety outcomes.
