RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12s)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float pool position - must be able to float to other units
• Patient ratio averages 1:7
• Must have 2+ years of Cardiac Telemetry Med Surg experience
• EPIC experience required (minimum 6 months)
• Previous travel experience required (2-3 travel assignments of at least 13 weeks each)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), NIH
• Virginia State License or Compact license required
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• 26-week contract
• 5 days RTO auto-approved with requirement to make up time on back end
• One holiday off permitted
• No block scheduling available
• Care for acute care patients with Med Surg/Telemetry or Stepdown experience
• PCU and ICU experience considered if majority experience is med surg/tele

This healthcare organization is a 495-bed facility designated as a Level II Trauma Center, earning recognition for nine consecutive years with an "A" grade in Patient Safety. The facility features units with at least 30 beds each and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system. The organization operates a float pool system allowing nurses to work across multiple units, providing diverse clinical experience in acute care settings.
