Medical leave and approaching their busy season (year end & W2 work). This is a payroll processing job. The ideal person has PeopleSoft (processing) and Kronos (timecards) experience. Must haves: -3+ years of payroll processing -Experience checking & fixing timecards -Excel, Word & Outlook Preferred: -Associate or Bachelor degree -PeopleSoft (they process payroll with it) -Kronos (timecard system) -Payroll taxes -W2's Job Description: The Payroll Specialist coordinates payroll process for our organization and our subsidiaries. Provide payroll and analytical support for all subsidiary organizations on payroll related policy/practices. Prepare and distribute reports and/or statistical analysis of payroll data as scheduled or assigned using ERP applications, Excel or other software as appropriate. Provide support for Time and Labor as well as Payroll systems by working in close coordination with HRIS Analyst, MIS, Finance, HR Division, and other hospital staff. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual spreadsheets. Assist with payroll data management processes during open enrollment, system testing, wage and salary programs, and statistical tracking, as scheduled or assigned. Assist with training and education materials for end-user and Payroll staff as needed. Responsibilities: Responsible for Time and Labor/Payroll support for the entire organization and subsidiary organizations and resolution to related issues. Assist with optimization and routine system updates, as applicable. Provide support in the implementation of software and hardware for Time and Labor/Payroll systems. Participate in processing both weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. Analyze and compare payroll hours, imported from Time and Labor system to payroll reports, reconcile all hours, dollars, and withholding Process all Employee bonuses, incentives, special payments, and off-cycle payrolls, as applicable. Reconcile and prepare all quarterly reports and ensure compliance with all Federal/State reporting requirements. Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statistical data as scheduled. Complete applicable reporting and provide invoice information to Accounts Payable. Prepare various reports through Time and Labor/Payroll systems, Excel or other software as appropriate. Send payroll files for deductions, garnishments, and banking information to applicable vendors. Process payroll adjustments as needed. Assist with providing support to employees for payroll related issues and questions. Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2s and tax reporting, as applicable.

Skills & Experience: -Associates degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field preferred. -3+ years of payroll processing and time & labor experience -Experience with PeopleSoft and Kronos preferred. -Demonstrated experience using MS Office applications, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, in a business setting for statistical compilation, analysis and presentation. -Familiar with HR and Payroll processing procedures, laws and regulations. -Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
