Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand through professional selling, building loyalty, and fostering long-term customer relationships. This involves promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company's Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Guide each customer through RWSC's Ultimate Fit Experience
2. Recommend accessories and educate customers on their benefits
3. Generate Industrial Sales Leads
4. Achieve and exceed daily sales goals
5. Maintain store presentation, signage, and cleanliness standards
6. Continuously update product knowledge and technical skills
7. Follow safety standards to maintain a healthy work environment
8. Support daily store operations

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Stay informed on RWSC's communication software
2. Uphold quality service standards
3. Embody Red Wing Shoe Company's core values
4. Perform additional duties as needed
5. Adhere to company policies
6. Build collaborative relationships with team members

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years relevant retail experience
• Results-oriented
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency with computers

• Profit and loss understanding

• Experience in retail footwear

Physical Demands

• Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, overhead lifting, twisting, ladder climbing, standing for long periods
• Housekeeping tasks including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining store fixtures
