Project Scheduler Overview: Collaborates with project teams to develop, maintain, and update project schedules. Conducts schedule reviews to ensure alignment with industry best practices, and communicates feedback constructively to project teams. Engages in all stages of the construction scheduling process, including proposal schedules, baseline schedules, and regular updates. Applies working knowledge of scheduling software. Supports training initiatives for operations, including assisting with content development and course preparation. Contributes to the creation and refinement of scheduling best practices Performs regular site visits to assess project progress and update schedules based on construction sequencing expertise. Participates in project and site-specific meetings where scheduling is a key focus. Ensures CPM schedules are aligned with Lean and Pull Planning outcomes. Prepares various reports related to assigned projects. Collaborates with project teams to incorporate resource and cost loading into schedules when needed. Provides scheduling support to operations, marketing, and other IPS functions as required. Considers regional and market-specific factors (weather, labor availability, and material supply) that may influence project timelines. Engages in business development efforts and pursuit opportunities alongside project teams.

Additional Responsibilities: Conducting in-depth critical path and root cause analyses for challenged projects. Advising project teams on sequencing, construction methods, delays, impacts, alternative plans, and recovery strategies. Facilitating internal training sessions Participating in pre-planning, post-construction, and monthly project review meetings. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and promptly. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced ability to interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Intermediate ability to identify and improve sequencing issues during site visits. Intermediate understanding of construction management methods. Intermediate knowledge of scheduling software and its practical application. Intermediate familiarity with various construction project types and delivery methods. Intermediate expertise in activity sequencing, duration estimation, and scheduling best practices, with the ability to suggest improvements. Advanced proficiency in scheduling software. Intermediate understanding of Lean principles and practices. Ability to import schedules into standard scheduling platform. Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective working relationships. Ability to work cohesively within internal and external teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
