APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Sterling Heights, MI looking to add a Maintenance Manager to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to oversee maintenance to keep all equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:
Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
Establish and enforce maintenance best practices, taking corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance schedules to meet internal standards.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and resolve issues involving machinery and equipment.
Manage installation of new machinery and coordinate safe disposal of obsolete equipment.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to repair electrical systems and automated controls.
Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of logic controllers and automated systems.
Fabricate or modify components as needed for equipment repairs and improvements.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with IATF, 5S lean manufacturing principles, and all safety/environmental regulations.
Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical presses (up to 2,500 tons), CNC mills, air compressors, forklifts; experience with CO2 and fiber lasers is a plus.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent
10+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; leadership level preferred
Knowledge of industrial maintenance and facilities management
Proficient in Microsoft Office; PLEX experience a plus
Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and logic controllers
Experience with high-voltage electrical systems, large presses, PLCs (Fanuc, etc.)
Ability to fabricate parts for repairs or improvements
Familiar with safety regulations and maintenance best practices
