We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Building Security Guard to join our team at Target Center, home of the MN Timberwolves and MN Lynx. **Job Summary:**The Building Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Target Center’s patrons, employees, and assets. This role involves maintaining a visible presence, conducting regular patrols, responding to security incidents, monitoring surveillance equipment, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stressful situations with composure, and demonstrate strong communication and observational skills.- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies related to surveillance.- Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Manager.- Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education): - Years of related work experience: 2 years.A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency. Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner. Ability to maintain good business relations with all employees and managers in other departments. - Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without loss of composure.- Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
