This is a strategic HR leadership role focused on delivering organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and leadership development across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with area business goals to support operational success and cultural continuity.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for area leadership and management teams, offering consultation across all major HR functions.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions to provide workforce insights and guide talent-related decisions.
  • Lead the implementation of HR programs, policy updates, and organizational changes across multiple sites.
  • Manage talent development initiatives, including performance improvement planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fairness and adherence to policy and legal requirements.
  • Support restructuring efforts, workforce planning, and risk assessment in partnership with legal and regional leadership.
  • Facilitate employee engagement programs and help drive action planning based on survey results or employee feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal HR partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver consistent, effective HR support.
  • Lead and coach a local HR team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and professional development.
  • Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support local sites and attend organizational events.
  • Direct oversight of HR Generalists and HR Coordinators.
  • Provide leadership development and guidance for HR team members.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Area and Regional Leadership, Legal, Talent Management, Communications, and Operations.
  • External: Regulatory agencies, external legal counsel, and community organizations as appropriate.
  • Primarily office-based with periodic time spent in field and warehouse environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience with progressive responsibility and strong background in employee and labor relations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR functions across multiple sites and supporting senior business leaders.
  • Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing direct reports within an HR team structure.
  • Valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR) is strongly preferred.
  • Background in labor-intensive industries such as distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Experience handling high-volume employee relations in a structured, process-based environment.
  • Previous experience in multi-site or regional HR leadership roles.
