About the Role
Miller Zell is seeking a sharp, forward-thinking Senior Business Analyst to bridge the worlds of retail innovation, digital experiences, and operational rollout. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements, streamline processes, and support the successful delivery of high-impact retail solutions—across physical and digital environments.
This is not a sit-in-the-corner-and-take-notes kind of role. We want a collaborator, a translator, and a strategic thinker who can decode complexity and help shape the future of customer experience design.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements across retail, design, and digital teams
- Translate high-level business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and wireframe-level specs
- Support cross-functional delivery teams across creative, development, and rollout workflows
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, or digitization
- Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements between systems (CMS, DAM, project tracking)
- Assist in the creation and management of project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews; ensure alignment and accountability
- Create reporting, dashboards, or insights to support strategic initiatives
- Serve as a strategic thought partner—helping to connect dots across teams, tools, and channels
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in retail, digital, or experience design environments
- Proven ability to work across creative, operations, and tech teams
- Strong skills in requirements documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder facilitation
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, or equivalent tools
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms, digital signage, POS systems, or customer experience tools is a plus
- Familiarity with wireframing, UX thinking, or digital prototyping (Figma, Balsamiq) is a bonus—not a dealbreaker
- Data-savvy: proficient with Excel; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or light SQL is helpful
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to both execs and end-users
