Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate the scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards and operation of equipment.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, Restrooms).
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies (including refilling essential items in Lounge, Restrooms, Front End).
• Cross-train in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor).
• Support Front End coverage needs; participate in store recovery as needed.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Adhere to operational and loss prevention controls and shrink reduction.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break periods.
• Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; listens and responds appropriately.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.
