Package Handler/ Ground Handler Position Overview: We are launching a new drone delivery program and are seeking highly motivated Ground Handlers to support day-to-day operations. This role is critical in preparing packages and drones for safe and timely launches while ensuring a seamless customer delivery experience. Candidates should thrive in a structured, fast-paced operational environment, with strong attention to detail and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end workflow checks for package preparation, including verifying package size/weight for drone delivery. Prepare drones for launch, including safety checks and placement on launch pads. Support a continuous, conveyor-like operation to maintain delivery speed and accuracy. When drone delivery is not possible, use a company-provided vehicle to deliver packages within the required service-level window (typically within 60 minutes). Maintain adherence to operational SOPs, checklists, and safety standards at all times. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain on feet for extended periods. Collaborate with Flight Operations teams during handoff for drone launch. Qualifications Required: Experience in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or other fast-paced commercial environments. Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks. Preferred: Prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or related fields. Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Military background strongly preferred. Previous fulfillment center or high-volume logistics experience. The salary for this position is between $25,000-$30,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
