Job Details:
• Coverage needed December through December • Handle 5-10 patient encounters per shift in the OB/GYN Labor & Delivery department • Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies • Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE • Conduct and interpret OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening) • Manage routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries • Provide decision-making for c-section cases when needed • Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions • Manage VBAC deliveries as required • Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Perform office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD insertion, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP • Conduct surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic procedures • Perform operative/major procedures including management of ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's • Must have active NC license or IMLC • Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Amniocentesis skills preferred • Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
