We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the greater Sacramento area in a dual-capacity role that supports both Human Resources and administrative operations for a stable employer based in North Sacramento, Ca. This position offers a dynamic blend of responsibilities, combining core HR functions including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance with administrative duties including office coordination, documentation management, scheduling, and general clerical support. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a proactive, organized approach to both people-focused and operational tasks.
Pay range: $30.00/hr. - $33.00/hr. (DOE).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports core HR operations including onboarding, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance Maintains personnel records, HRIS systems, and assists with performance reviews and employee engagement Provides executive-level administrative support including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics Coordinates cross-departmental administrative tasks and helps implement office policies and procedures Prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence while managing general clerical and scheduling duties SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least 2 years of HR and administrative experience with strong knowledge of labor laws, recruitment, and HR best practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with MS Office Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills in a professional business environment Preferred qualifications include a relevant degree, payroll system experience, and familiarity with HR compliance requirements
