Job Summary
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Call Center Representative. The primary responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring effective communication with patients and medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phones to respond to all inquiries made by patients, insurance companies, and other medical facilities.
- Handling a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
- Re-scheduling patient appointments via telephone calls and written notifications to patients.
- Screening and routing patient calls to other departments efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and appointment scheduling.
- Taking clear and accurate messages on behalf of other departments.
- Responding to patients' questions and needs by editing, canceling, and re-scheduling appointments as necessary according to clinic protocols.
- Reviewing physician schedules regularly to maximize capacity and verify correct scheduling.
- Faxing medical records to authorized facilities.
- Maintaining a good working relationship and effective communication both within the department and with other departments for the benefit of the patient.
- Other duties as assigned.
