IT Business Analyst — St. Louis, MO | Fully Onsite (candidates open to 4/1 or 3/2 hybrid will be considered)

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team supporting enterprise digital and mobile initiatives. This role will act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are gathered, documented, and delivered clearly to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements analysis, gap analysis, and stakeholder elicitation sessions.

  • Collaborate with mobile architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements are complete and testable.

  • Prepare and maintain user stories in JIRA, ensuring traceability through testing and defect triage.

  • Conduct requirement and user story reviews with stakeholders and QA teams.

  • Support testing efforts and facilitate defect management.

  • Develop process flow diagrams and documentation to outline current and future state business processes.

  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and action items across stakeholders.

  • Independently research topics using SharePoint, Chalk Sites, and other repositories to support business and technical decisions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT or enterprise systems.

  • Strong understanding of requirements elicitation, definition, and documentation.

  • Ability to identify upstream/downstream dependencies and system impacts.

  • Skilled in process mapping (BPMN/UML) and use of Visio/Lucid for workflows.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA for user stories and backlog management.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Octane.

  • Telecom/Mobile industry background.

  • Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) expertise for creating as-is/to-be flows.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (W2 only)

Schedule: Full-time | Onsite in St. Louis (hybrid flexibility 4/1 or 3/2 may be considered)
